SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA softball team opens the 2022 season in Houston on Friday. The Roadrunners will compete in the Houston Invitational Feb. 11-12 and play one game against South Dakota in Huntsville on Sunday.
UTSA will face Texas Tech and Houston at Cougar Softball Stadium for two games each throughout the tournament.
UTSA finished the 2021 season 15-31 overall and 8-12 in C-USA action. The Roadrunners welcomed seven freshmen to the 2022 roster this season.
For the 2021 season, Tech finished 21-26 overall and Houston finished 17-33. South Dakota finished 13-38 in their 2021 season.
