SAN ANTONIO — UTSA has released the following information for fans planning to attend Saturday's football game against Lamar presented by H-E-B. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at the Alamodome and UTSA will honor first responders with several pregame and in-game recognitions on Saturday.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The City of San Antonio and the Alamodome encourage anyone experiencing COVID -19 symptoms to refrain from attending. Temperature checks for fan entry have been discontinued. For those attending, safety measures are encouraged while tailgating. Face masks are recommended inside any city facilities.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
The Alamodome Clear Bag Policy is in effect all season.
ALAMODOME SEATING
The Alamodome has returned to 100% capacity. All seats will be available for use this season.
TICKETS
Tickets are on sale by calling or texting 210-458-UTSA (8872) or visiting ticketmaster.com. Tickets start at $10 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the first season of UTSA football. UTSA has transitioned to digital tickets through the Account Manager.
All students currently enrolled at UTSA are eligible for free admission to all home football games. UTSA students may purchase up to four guest tickets for student section seating. Guest tickets are sold for $10 each.
For walk-up sales, the Alamodome Southwest Box Office will open at 10 a.m. Saturday and all other Alamodome box offices will open at 2:30 p.m. Customer service windows are located at the Northeast and Southeast box offices.
PARKING
Parking in Alamodome Lots A, B and C is limited to fans who already have purchased permits. A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Alamodome Lots A, B and C will open 6.5 hours before kickoff for those who have valid parking passes. Please do NOT enter the lots prior or staff will ask you to vacate your spot(s) and re-enter once the lots are open.
Paid parking is available in the parking lot next to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at the corner of Montana Street and Tower of Americas Way. UTSA students, faculty and staff may park in any unmarked spaces with a valid UTSA parking permit on Saturdays at the Downtown Campus under I-35.
TAILGATING
Tailgating is back in the Alamodome parking lots this season. Alamodome parking lots will open at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday. For more information and City of San Antonio tailgating guidelines, please visit goutsa.com.
RIDESHARE
The drop-off and pick-up location for rideshare users is located in the parking lot next to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at the corner of Montana Street and Tower of Americas Way.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
VIA has discontinued Park & Ride service at this time. Regular routes downtown will be offered, but no special event service is available until further notice.
UTSA STUDENT TRANSPORTATION
UTSA students can ride VIA's 93 Route for free from the Main Campus Bus Loop to the Alamodome using their U-Pass. Students will need to visit the VIA U-Pass website for more information on how to access this service.
UTSA students may park at one of the surface lots on the UTSA Downtown Campus and catch a UTSA shuttle bus in the Durango Loop. Shuttle bus service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday and run one hour past the end of the game. The pickup location for the shuttle at the Alamodome will be at the Northeast Corner of Lot A.
FIRST RESPONDER RECOGNITION
Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and UTSA will honor first responders in several pregame and halftime recognitions.
• The San Antonio Fire Department will have a ladder truck and the San Antonio Police Department will have a SWAT vehicle and patrol car on display in Rowdy Town in H-E-B Plaza prior to the game.
• A total of 2,977 U.S. flags will be displayed in the grass lawns on both sides of the loading dock at the south end of the Alamodome as a memorial to the lives lost on 9/11.
• City of San Antonio Fire Chief Charles Hood, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus and Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar will be honorary guests for the coin toss.
• UTSA's Spirit of San Antonio marching band will perform a 9/11 tribute at halftime and more than 100 first responders will unveil a giant U.S. flag during the performance.
UT HEALTH SAN ANTONIO FREE VACCINATIONS
The UT Health San Antonio Mobile Vaccination Unit will be on site Saturday to provide free COVID-19 vaccines. This will be located in the H-E-B Plaza on the north side of the Alamodome beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday.
SPURS GUARD LONNIE WALKER IV MEET AND GREET
San Antonio Spurs guard Lonnie Walker IV will be on hand at UTSA's home opener on Saturday at the Alamodome to greet and take pictures with the first 300 fans at the Mach1 booth located inside the south entrance to the Alamodome from 3:30 to 5 p.m. For more information, please visit Mach1 .
GAME DAY EXPERIENCE
Located in the H-E-B Plaza and VIA Bridge on the north side of the Alamodome, Rowdy Town is completely free for all UTSA fans to take part in pregame festivities, which include:

• The first hour of the Credit Human Pregame Radio Show with Andy Everett will air live on Ticket 760 AM from Rowdy Town beginning at 3 p.m. UTSA Athletics Director Lisa Campos will be a guest on the show at 3:30 p.m.
• Spirit Walk is back this season and will take place at 2:45 p.m. Join UTSA head football coach Jeff Traylor and the entire team as they walk to the Alamodome two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff. The UTSA band and cheerleaders line the walkway between Alamodome parking lots B and C as Rowdy leads the team down Roadrunner Alley and into the stadium.
• Fans can buy the latest UTSA apparel and accessories from Rowdy Campus Store, which will be set up in Lot C near Roadrunner Alley. Merchandise sales counters are also located inside the Alamodome on the Plaza and Club Level concourses.
• The UTSA Student Indoor Tailgate is the new gathering spot for students inside the Alamodome on game day. Free food and beverage will be available (while supplies last). Door prizes include concession vouchers and UTSA apparel. Join DJ Wynkoop and QuickStrike Entertainment for some fun and excitement before the game. The UTSA Student Indoor Tailgate is open from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Club located at the north end of the Club Level.
• A free photo booth for fans will be located behind Section 121.
BROADCAST INFORMATION
Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN3. Fans can stream the broadcast at Watch ESPN or on the ESPN app. The contest will air live on Ticket 760 AM in the San Antonio area and on SiriusXM app channel 988. The pregame show will begin at 3 p.m. and there will be a 45-minute postgame show. The radio broadcast also can be heard online at Ticket760.com and via the iHeartRadio and The Varsity Network apps.
