Trio of Roadrunners earns All-Tournament honors in Stillwater

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA soccer standouts Kendall Kloza, Ellis Patterson and Deja Sandoval each earned All-Tournament honors over the weekend at the Cowgirl Invitational Tournament.

Kloza, Patterson and Sandoval each stood out during the weekend competition to open the 2021 season, earning three of the 11 spots on the Cowgirl Invite All-Tournament Team.

Kloza, a product of San Antonio's Lee High School, netted her third career goal as a game-winning tally on Sunday in a 3-0 rout of Tulsa. A senior defender, Kloza helped lead a UTSA defensive charge that limited No. 16 Oklahoma State to just 11 shots on Thursday in the season opener.
