RUSTON, La. – The UTSA soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Louisiana Tech Friday night after a golden goal in double overtime.
In the first half, the Roadrunners posted eight shots, but three were blocked and two were saved. UTSA had three in the second half with one on target. The Lady Techsters recorded 13 during regulation.
Both teams had two shots in overtime with LA Tech finding the net at the 104:10 mark to take the win.
Lexi Bolton, Deja Sandoval and Ellis Patterson each had three shots on the day .
Jil Schneider played all 104 minutes with five saves increasing her total to 11 on the season.
The Roadrunners are back in action on Sunday at HBU.
