LAFAYETTE, La. — UTSA's Adam House and David Harrison both finished in the top 25 individuals at the 36th annual Louisiana Classics, which concluded Tuesday at Oakbourne Country Club (par 72/6,866 yards).
House tied for 16th at 1-over-par 217 and Harrison grabbed a share of 25th at 2-over 218 while competing as individuals in their season debuts this week in the Bayou State.
House posted 12 birdies, the third-highest total in the field of 81 players, to help log his eighth career top-25 finish. After opening with a 70-74—144 on Monday, the Rockwall native wrote down four birdies, including three on the front nine, en route to turning in a 1-over 73 for the final round.
Meanwhile, Harrison ended up one shot behind his teammate for his third top-25 showing in just his fifth tournament as a Roadrunner. The Byron Nelson High School product registered a 72-71—143 for the first 36 holes before carding a 75 that featured a birdie on the 523-yard, par-5 seventh hole on Tuesday.
The Roadrunners will return to the course on April 5-6 when they travel to Houston for the Bayou City Collegiate Classic.
