CORPUS CHRISTI – The UTSA women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Friday afternoon at the Henry Tennis Center.
The Islanders won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 to start the day.
In singles, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi claimed wins at No. 2, 4 and 6 to capture the win.
Singles matches involving Jasmin Starr, Laura Munoz-Baroja and Alexandra Weir were still in progress at the time of the clinching win on court 2.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow when they host Houston at 2 p.m. for the home opener.
