BATON ROUGE, La. – Juri Reckow (Hamburg, Germany) and Slava Gulin (Moscow, Russia) each claimed a singles point but LSU posted a 5-2 win over the Roadrunners, on Saturday morning at at the LSU Tennis Complex.
UTSA (1-2) dropped the doubles point to open the day at LSU (4-0) but got a win on court 2 from Gulin and Sebastian Rodriguez (Trujillo, Peru).
Gulin won on court 6 in singles, 6-2, 7-6 (10-8) and Reckow posted a 3-6, 6-4, 6-5 (8-6) win on court 3.
The Roadrunners will return to action on Friday, traveling to participate in the two-day event in Corpus Christi, Texas, the Islander Invitational.
