SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women's tennis team 2021 schedule showcases 20 matches, including seven home contests, head coach Ki Kroll announced on Friday.
"Everyone's been working hard, and we're very excited to start competing," Kroll said. "Our team continues to improve, and with the addition of three new players, this year will be especially interesting. It should be a lot of fun and some great tennis to watch. Let's go Runners!"
The Roadrunners open the season on Jan. 29 at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi before coming home to host Houston the next day.
UTSA then travels to Las Vegas Feb. 5-7 to take on Florida Atlantic, host UNLV and Youngstown State.
The Roadrunners have a three-match home slate Feb. 13, 14 and 16 against Northwestern State, UIW and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, respectively, before hitting the road again.
UTSA hits the road Feb. 20 to play Lamar, then drives north to take on former Southland Conference foe Sam Houston State on Feb. 21.
The Roadrunners will travel to New Mexico State (Feb. 26) and UTEP (Feb. 27). They will also face Seward Feb. 27 for a neutral-site contest.
Closing out the road slate, UTSA will play at Rice (March 6), Prairie View A&M (March 7), UT Arlington (March 19) and SMU (March 20).
The Roadrunners finish the season with three home matches on March 28 (North Texas), April 9 (Texas State) and April 11 (UT Arlington).
The Conference USA Championship is set for April 22-25 in Denton.
