Women's basketball reveals 2020-21 schedule

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA women's basketball head coach Kristen Holt announced the 2020-21 schedule on Friday.
 
This season is highlighted by seven Texas opponents and a new conference format.
 
The Roadrunners will play six non-conference games this year with five of those in the Alamo City. UTSA opens the season hosting Sul Ross State on Nov. 25., followed by UTRGV on Nov. 30.
 
Cross-town rival UIW will host the Roadrunners on Dec. 3 before playing at the Convocation Center on Dec. 13.
 
UTSA plays Northwestern State at home on Dec. 15 before traveling to Huntsville, Texas to take on former Southland Conference foe Sam Houston State on Dec. 18 to close out the non-conference slate.
 
Jan. 1-2 the Roadrunners will host Rice to open conference play and the new format of playing back-to-back days.
 
Throughout C-USA action, UTSA will host Louisiana Tech (Jan. 15-16), UTEP (Jan. 30), FIU (Feb. 5-6) and Charlotte (Feb. 19-20).
 
The Roadrunners have five road opponents in 2021, including North Texas (Jan. 8-9), Southern Miss (Jan. 22-23), UTEP (Jan. 29), Florida Atlantic (Feb. 12-13) and UAB (Feb. 26-27).
 
The 2021 Air Forces Reserve Conference USA basketball championship is March 10-13 at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco.
 
Fan information for the 2020-21 season will be announced next week.
