EDITOR'S NOTE: This feature appears in the Digital Game Program for Saturday's contest with LA Tech. For the complete program, visit, goUTSA.com/Program.

No current Roadrunner has played in more games during their career than senior running back B.J. Daniels, who has appeared in 39 entering the Louisiana Tech matchup on Oct. 24. A native of Melbourne, Fla., he has been a mainstay in the backfield and on special teams throughout his time at UTSA. Daniels recently took time out of his busy schedule for a Q&A for this week's digital game program.

Question: Being from Florida, how has Texas treated you? What do you like most about Texas?

B.J. Daniels: I love Texas so far because where I'm from, it's very country. I love to go sightseeing in the hills. It's a different aspect from what I'm used to compared to beaches and swamps.

Q: What would you bring to Texas from Florida?

B.J.: I'd bring a couple rivers, lakes and beaches to San Antonio.

Q: What musical artists do you have on your pregame playlist?

B.J.: I got a little bit of Chief Keef, NBA YoungBoy, Kodak Black. My go-to song would be "Welcome to the Party" by Pop Smoke.

Q: Outside of football, what are your hobbies?

B.J.: I love cars. I've learned to work on them during the years. I love my dogs and I love to take them on walks. I have a Frenchie and an American Bully.

Q: What's your dream car? If you could get it for free with no payments?

B.J.: Off the top of my head, I would choose a Hellcat Charger.

Q: Who is someone you really look up too?

B.J.: One person I look up to a lot is Adrian Peterson. His work ethic on and off the field is tremendous.

Q: Would it be a dream for you to workout with Adrian Peterson?

B.J.: For sure, he gets after it all the time. His workouts are pretty dynamic. I know some of his workouts by heart. My friends and I would copy his workouts all the time when we were little.

Q: What's your major and what do you plan on doing with your degree?

B.J.: I'm majoring in multidisciplinary studies and that include business, marketing and history. I want to own my business and be my own boss one day.

Q: Do you know what kind of business you would like to own?

B.J.: Probably something involving cars and branch off from there. I would love to have my own dealership one day.

Q: How would you describe your personal style? Are you really into fashion? Would you say you got 'that drip'?

B.J.: I like fashion a lot. My mom is from Brooklyn. New York was like my second home growing up. New York is the fashion capitol, so I would always be so amazed of the different clothes everyone had. I always got to bring my new clothes back home to Florida. I would say that I had a different style compared to my Florida friends.

Q: Do you have any Netflix/Hulu series you're into right now?

B.J.: I'm not a big series guy, but I do like all the new movies Adam Sandler has been putting on Netflix. Hubie Halloween was pretty good. I thought it was really funny.

Q: Did you celebrate Halloween growing up? What was your favorite costume?

B.J.: My mom didn't let me celebrate Halloween all the time, but one time she let me celebrate it with my best friend Riley. Riley's mom wanted to take us out, but I didn't have any costumes. So Riley was nice enough to give me his Spiderman suit. But compared to Riley, I was a big eight-year-old, so I was popping out of the Spiderman suit; the pants were up to my shins, sleeves didn't fit my forearms. I would say that my 'super small Spiderman suit' was my best Halloween costume ever.

Q: I heard you are a pretty good baseball player. Do you have a baseball team that you go for?

B.J.: I like the [Tampa Bay] Rays. I had a cousin on the Rays — B.J. Upton.

Q: Who do you have winning the World Series?

B.J.: I'm taking Tampa, all day. It's been a long time since they've been there.

Q: I know you're playing football now, but how do you compare it with baseball?

B.J.: Baseball is fun, a fun game to play. But there's something about football you can't beat. Though football is tougher on the body, there's something about all the excitement.

Q: What's something a lot of people don't know about you that you'd like to share?

B.J.: A lot of people know that I have a daughter, but they don't know I love watching her little kid shows. We enjoy the shows together. I would say my favorites are "Yo Gabba Gabba!" and "The Powerpuff Girls."
