DALLAS — SaVion Harris will be UTSA's representative in the first C-USA Esports Challenge, which starts on Monday, May 25, the league announced Friday.
Harris is the No. 5 seed in the West Division and the senior safety will face off against North Texas' Brian Parish in the first round. Harris is one of 14 student-athletes from Conference USA football programs who will compete.
One round will be played each week leading up to the championship game. The first round of the single-elimination bracket will begin Monday and continue through Friday, May 29. Players are seeded based on their team's finish in the 2019 C-USA football standings.
