Women's basketball inks Emilie Baek to signing class

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA women's basketball head coach Kristen Holt announced the signing of Emilie Baek to the 2020 singing class on Thursday.
 
Baek joins Kyleigh McGuire and Yuliyana Valcheva in the newest class under Holt.

Hometown: Horsholm, Denmark
Previous school: Broward College
 
Quote from head coach Kristen Holt on Baek: "We are very excited to add Emilie Baek to our roster for next year. Emile brings experience and a tremendous 3-pointshot. She makes smart decisions on the floor and will add depth to the guard position."
 
Bio: Emilie Baek transferred from Broward College where she averaged 9.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in her only year on the team. She started 21 of 23 games and averaged 25.8 minutes per game. Baek recorded 50 assists and 224 total points last season. In high school, she was named the 2017 European Girls Basketball League MVP. She was also a four-time Danish champion and a three-time Nordic champion with the Horsholm 79'ers.
