Volleyball adds Jessica Langridge to 2020 roster

SAN ANTONIO – Laura Neugebauer-Groff announced the addition of former Flower Mound High School and Texas Tech middle blocker Jessica Langridge to the 2020 signing class Wednesday.

In her two seasons in Lubbock, Langridge made five appearances as a freshman before redshirting in 2019. She hit .500 and blocked three attempts by opponents over the nine sets she competed in as a rookie. Converted 4-of-6 attempts and added three block assists in her collegiate debut against Northwestern State Aug. 24, 2018.

During her senior campaign at Flower Mound High School, she captained the squad, posting 223 kills and leading the team with 148 blocks and team high 38 aces. Langridge established a new single-match school record with a .917 hitting percentage in 2017 and helped the Jaguars qualify for the postseason both seasons.
 
Langridge played club for Tejas Volleyball Club where her team qualified for USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Her team finished third in the 2015 USAV GJNC, taking home the bronze medal. Langridge collected 2017 Pearland Classic All-Tournament Team honors.
