SAN ANTONIO – Falling behind after dropping the doubles point, UTSA's women's tennis regrouped and stormed back with four unanswered individual wins and secured a 4-1 decision over UTEP at the UTSA Tennis Center Sunday.
In the first match of the two contests Sunday, Keegan McCain, Kylee Kato and Jasmin Starr salted away straight-set victories, putting the Roadrunners on the cusp of securing the match. Laura Baroja dispatched her foe with 6-4, 6-4 tallies.
UTSA cruised past Laredo 7-0 in the nightcap, taking both doubles matches 6-0 and claiming straight-set wins in each of the six individual matches.
