SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA softball team closes its tournament season at the Jacksonville State Invite Feb. 28-29 in Jacksonville, Ala.
UTSA (11-5) will face Samford and host Jacksonville State twice during the tournament.
The Roadrunners finished third at the Boerner Invitational going 4-1 in Arlington. Taylor Medina hit a grand slam in the seventh inning to help clinch an 8-7 win over Kansas on Friday. UTSA split games with Rutgers on Saturday and won 8-7 against UT Arlington on Sunday to take third place.
