RUSTON, La. – Jasmin Starr clinched the final individual match point, securing UTSA women's tennis 4-3 decision over LA Tech at the Ruston Athletic Complex.
Knotted at 3-3, the No. 1 singles match between Starr and the Lady Techsters was even at 1-1 with Starr winning the second set 6-2 after falling 4-6 in the first. She dominated the tie-breaker, winning seven of the eight points and extending the Roadrunners winning streak to three.
