SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men's golf team will head to Humble, Texas, for the All-American Intercollegiate, which will be held Sunday-Tuesday, Feb. 16-19, at the Golf Club of Houston's Tournament Course (par 72/7,096 yards).
The Roadrunners will line up against No. 32 Houston, Lamar, Little Rock, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, Rice, Sam Houston State, No. 30 South Carolina, Texas State, ULM, UT Arlington and No. 8 Wake Forest. The field will play 54 holes with tee times for each round scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. each day.
UTSA finished seventh with a 287-300—587 at the rain-shortened All-American Intercollegiate last year. Adam House and Michael Rome finished in a tie for 12th place at 1-over-par 145 to lead the way, while Christian Fanfelle carded a 147 to finish 22nd.
The Roadrunners are coming off a 10th-place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate on Jan. 27-28 in Tucson. Collin Clark and Fanfelle shared 31st place to pace UTSA in its spring season opener.
