CORPUS CHRISTI – Senior Kylee Kato completed UTSA's comeback at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, defeating the Islanders 4-3 at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center Friday.
Trailing 3-1, Jasmin Starr and Catalina Cabrique kept the Roadrunners hopes alive with victories, setting a winner take all scenario in the final match of the day. Kato defeated Emma Honore in straight sets and finishing off the rally for UTSA.

"I'm very proud of the ladies, they fought hard," head coach Ki Kroll said. "We started off strong in doubles, and clinched the point. At three all, it came down to Kylee Kato, and she locked down the win against a very strong Corpus Christi team. We'll need to build on that win.
