Oreoluwa Adamson signs with UTSA track & field

Native of London, England, joins Roadrunners
 
SAN ANTONIO – Oreoluwa Adamson, a standout prep athlete out of London, England, has signed a National Letter of Intent with UTSA track & field, it was announced by Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Aaron Fox on Tuesday. 
 
"We are excited to announce the signing of Ore Adamson," Fox said. "She is one of Great Britain's top junior long jumpers and will added needed depth to our jumps crew. We're looking forward to helping her achieve her goals while being a student-athlete at UTSA." 
 
Adamson won the under-17 long jump title at the England Athletics Indoor Championships in 2017. In 2019, she claimed four long jump titles, including the U-20 Inter County Championships, the UK Women's League Division 3 in Bedford and Kingston, and the Surrey County Championships. 
 
She won nine 60 and 100 meter titles as an U-15 competitor in 2016, and totaled first place finishes in 12 of 13 competitions in the long jump. 
 
In 2018, Adamson claimed 12 total first-place finishes in the long jump. Most recently, she placed first in the long jump at the 2020 London U-20 / Senior Games. 
 
Adamson owns a personal best of 6.23m (20-5.25) in the long jump, done in 2019 at the England Athletics U20/U23 Championships.
