SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA softball program will host three camps this fall and winter at Roadrunner Field. The specific camps and their dates are as follows:
Advanced Metrics Screening Clinic
Team Camp
Winter Prospect Camp
The Advanced Metrics Screening Clinic is a four week camp and will be held Nov. 4, 10, 18 and 25. It is limited to four hitters and four pitchers ages ninth grade and above. Campers will receive Titleist Performance Institute screening from coach Carlton Salters, one six TPI certified instructors in San Antonio. Players can take advantage of Rapsodo Pitching and Hitt Trax technology for evaluation of their pitching movement and swing efficiency. The four-week session is $400 and parking passes can be purchased for an additional $10.
The Team Camp will be held Nov. 23 for 16U and 18U teams. If teams are interested in participating, contact head coach Michelle Cheatham at michelle.cheatham@utsa.edu.
The Winter Prospect Camp is an all-skills camp for ages seventh grade and above on Jan. 18 at Roadrunner Field. The cost is $200 and parking passes can be purchased for an additional $5.
