SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA soccer teams hosts Oral Roberts at 7 p.m. on Friday at Park West Athletics Complex.
This is be just the second meeting between the two teams. The last time the Roadrunners played the Golden Eagles was Aug. 24, 2018 when they traveled to Tulsa and won, 2-0.
Scouting UTSA
UTSA is 3-2-0 on the season after a 1-1 record at the UTSA tournament Sept. 6 and 8. The Roadrunners shut out Cleveland State, 3-0 on Friday before falling to South Florida, 0-5 Sunday afternoon.
Ellis Patterson, Lexi Bolton and Isa Hernandez each scored a goal against Cleveland State.
The Roadrunners totaled four shots against South Florida, with Hernandez posting one shot on goal, and Jil Schneider adding four saves.
Abby Kassal, Isa Hernandez and Ellis Patterson earned all-tournament honors for the weekend.
Scouting Oral Roberts
The Golden Eagles are 2-4 on the season, coming off of dominant 5-0 win over Grambling State on Sept. 8 and snapping a three-match losing streak.
Redshirt junior McKenzie Edwards recorded a five-point performance, with two goals and one assist in the contest. Martha Helsee, Shayla Padilla and Mia Kitterman also added their own goals that helped solidify a Golden Eagles win.
