SAN ANTONIO– UTSA women's tennis kicks off their six match fall schedule at the Contender Crossfit Islander Open hosted by Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Friday through Sunday.
Four team members will participate in the event.
Catalina Cabarique (Bogata, Columbia) and Diya Menon (Plano, Texas) make up the first doubles pairing, while Sophie Omoworare (Plano, Texas) and Keegan McCain (Austin, Texas) round out the second duo.
The quartet is scheduled to compete in singles action as well.
Action begins at 9 a.m. each day at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center, which is located on Nile Drive just west of Oso Bay.
Besides UTSA and the hosts Islanders, Rice, Lamar, Abilene Christian, Incarnate Word, UTRGV, Trinity and Laredo Junior College will be represented in the event.
