Men’s tennis travels to face UT Arlington on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO – Winners of 10 of its first 12 matches, the UTSA men's tennis team will hit the road to face UT Arlington on Saturday at 11 a.m. 
 
UTSA (10-2) will face UT Arlington (7-4) in the first of four straight tests away from the UTSA Tennis Center. The Roadrunners have won four straight and have losses only at No. 8 Texas and Louisiana-Lafayette. 
 
UTSA owns a 46-18 record in singles and a 21-9 mark in doubles through the first 12 matches of 2019. The Roadrunners have been boosted by Purdue transfer Javier Rodriguez, who has gone 11-1 in singles and while playing in three different pairings, owns a 7-3 mark in doubles. 
 
Alan Sanson has posted a 7-1 mark in singles, with Juri Reckow close behind at 7-2. Joao Ceolin is 7-3 in singles, with Javier Gonzalez owning a 5-3 mark. Kai Breitbach is 3-7 in singles and while teaming with Sanson, is 5-3 in doubles. Reckow and Ceolin are 8-3 in doubles to lead the Roadrunners.
