Roadrunners host Texas Wesleyan on Friday

SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women's basketball team hosts Texas Wesleyan on Friday at 2 p.m. for the final non-conference home game.

Mikayla Woods recorded a career-high 32 points and 11 rebounds to lead the team. The Pflugerville, Texas, native tied the school record in points in a game by a freshman as well.

Texas Wesleyan comes into the game with a 7-2 record. The Rams come to the Alamo City after playing two games in Florida earlier this week.
 
TXWES has victories over Arlington Baptist (79-67), Paul Quinn College (71-58), Huston Tillotson (77-60), John Brown (53-50), Southwestern Assemblies of God (76-66), Florida Memorial (71-54) and Johnson & Wales (88-60). The Rams have also played Tarleton State, Angelo State, Midwestern State, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Mary Hardin Baylor this season in exhibitions.
 
Nicole Gleason leads the team with 13.6 points and 6.8 rebounds a game.
