SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA track & field program has released its 2020 indoor/outdoor schedule, featuring two home meets and the Conference USA Outdoor Championships at Park West Athletics Complex, Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Aaron Fox announced on Wednesday.
The Roadrunners will host a pair of meets in 2020, including the UTSA Invitational on March 19-21 and the Roadrunner Invitational on April 10-11 at Park West Athletics Complex. UTSA will serve as the host institution for the 2020 C-USA Outdoor Championships slated for May 14-17.
UTSA will open the indoor campaign with the FasTrak Invitational on Jan. 11 in Houston, Texas. UTSA will then venture to College Station to participate in the Ted Nelson Invitational on Jan. 17-18 before returning to the Bayou City for the Houston Invitational on Jan. 31.
The Roadrunners will compete in the Charlie Thomas Invitational on Feb. 7-8 in College Station as the last tune-up before the C-USA Indoor Championships, hosted by UAB on Feb. 22-23 in Birmingham, Ala.
The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held on March 13-14 in Albuquerque, N.M.
The outdoor season will open with the UTSA Invitational on March 19-21 at Park West Athletics Complex.
UTSA will travel to Austin to compete in the Texas Relays on March 25-28, before heading south for the Corpus Christi Invitational on April 4.
The Roadrunner Invitational is slated for April 10-11 at Park West Athletics Complex.
UTSA will head to Walnut, Calif., for the Mt. SAC Relays on April 16-18 before competing in the Texas A&M Invitational on April 24-25 and the Houston Invitational on May 1-2.
The Roadrunners will host the C-USA Outdoor Championships on May 14-17.
The NCAA Outdoor West Preliminary Championships are set for May 28-30 in Lawrence, Kan., and the NCAA Outdoor Championships will return to Austin, Texas, on June 10-13.
