HONOLULU – The UTSA women's basketball team fell to Utah 91-45 Sunday afternoon.
The Roadrunners fall to 3-3 on the season, while the Utes improve to 3-3.
Utah won the tip and scored first, but not until the 7:44 mark. The first couple of minutes were a battle for the ball. The Roadrunners didn't score until 6:03 remaining when Tija Hawkins posted a jumper to put UTSA on the board. The Utes led 23-4 after the first.
Karrington Donald went 3 for 3 from the arch and led the team with 11 points in the second quarter. Donald opened with a 3-pointer to start to bridge the gap. At the halfway point, the Roadrunners and the Utes were tied with 10 points each until Utah went on a 7-0 run in the final three minutes to push the lead. The Utes led 41-21 at the half.
UTSA shot 33.3 percent from the field in the second half and scored 24 points. Adryana Quezada recorded eight points and her fifth-consecutive double-digit game of the season. The Utes went on an 8-0 run in the first half of the fourth quarter to increase the lead and garner the victory.

- Karrington Donald hit a season-high four 3-pointers and was 3 for 3 at the half. She tied her career high for the third time.
- Donald recorded her first double-digit game of the season with 18 points.
- Adryana Quezada posted her fifth-consecutive double-digit game.
The Roadrunners returns to action on Nov. 30 when they travel to Edinburg, Texas to play UTRGV at 4:30 p.m.
