SAN ANTONIO – UTSA cross country freshman Harrison Wade is set to represent the Roadrunners at the 2019 NCAA South Central Regionals, hosted by Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday.
Wade, a native of Sydney, Australia, will compete in the men's 10K at Agri Park, slated to start at 12 p.m. CT.
Wade is coming off a 15th place finish in the 2019 Conference USA Championships (8K) on Nov. 2 in Bowling Green. He led UTSA's finishers, joining senior Martin Luevano (Boerne, Texas) as top-50 finishers. Wade also earned a 35th place finish in the Lakefront Invitational (8K) on Sept. 28 in Chicago, Ill.
The Roadrunners completed their regular season with the C-USA Championships earlier in November, with UTSA's men finishing eighth and the women placing 10th.
