Senior Day set for Sunday against Middle Tennessee

 SAN ANTONIO – UTSA volleyball commences its final home stand of the season Sunday at noon against Middle Tennessee.
 
In a pre-match ceremony, seniors Montse Castro, Brianna McCulloch, Emily Ramirez and Kara Teal will be recognized for their contributions to the program during their Roadrunner careers.

FIRST SERVE
• Middle Tennessee and UTSA meet for the 10th time.
• UTSA has a five-match winning streak in the series and are 6-3 all-time, including 2-1 at home.

• Rank eighth in the league with 11.81 assists, 12.47 kills and 1.3 serving aces per set.
• Defense averages 14.83 digs – eighth in the conference – while the 1.81 blocks is 11th lowest.
• Urte Neimantaite registers 3.11 kills per set, placing her 11th in C-USA.
• Taylor Hammill averages the fourth-most assists at 10.08.
• Bri Tankesley's 3.72 digs per set is eighth-best in the conference.
 
LAST MEETING
• UTSA swept Middle Tennessee, 25-15, 25-14, 25-21, in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Nov. 4, 2018.
Hannah Lopez registered a team-high 10 kills.
