SAN ANTONIO – For the second-consecutive season, the UTSA women's basketball team opens the season hosting Concordia Texas on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center.

Scouting UTSA
The Roadrunners finished the 2018-2019 season 7-21 overall and 2-14 in C-USA action. UTSA is looking to turn things around this season with the addition of eight newcomers. Elena Blanding, Karley Larson, Charlene Mass, Kiara Shoals, Shannan Mitchell, Grace Daniels, Adryana Quezada and Mikayla Woods all hope to make an impact this season for UTSA, along with six returners from the 2018-19 squad.
Scouting Concordia Texas
The Tornados open their season after an 8-17, 4-12 American Southwest Conference record last season with their head coach Matt Wallis at the helm for his seventh season. CTX also returns key seniors Peyton Berger and Kaycie Dunkerley, who started every game for Concordia Texas in the 2018-2019 season and averaged 13.8 and 14.6 points a game, respectively.
