North Texas takes 1-0 victory over the Roadrunners

SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA soccer team lost another tough battle at Park West with a 0-1 loss to North Texas Sunday afternoon.
 
The Roadrunners fall to 4-5-1, 0-3-0 C-USA on the season, while the Mean Green improves to 9-3-0, 4-0-0 C-USA.
 

 
In the 11th minute of the game, UNT's Natalie Newell crossed the ball over to Elle Marie DeFrain who headed the ball into the net for the lone goal of the game.
 
UTSA held UNT to just four shots on the day and posted 10 shots with six on target.
 
Lexi Bolton led the team with two shots on goal, while Camrynne Hoover, Deja Sandoval, Karlee Willey and Jordyn Lacy each posted one shot on target.

The Roadrunners were able to raise over $2,100 for Texas Wings during the silent auction.
 
UTSA returns to action on Oct. 11 when it travels to Boca Raton to take on Florida Atlantic. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.
