WHO'S COUNTING
Sunday's match is the 97th Conference USA contests, since UTSA joined the league prior to the 2013 campaign. The Roadrunners are 77-19 and recorded at least nine wins in league play and appeared in the C-USA Championship each of the previous six seasons. By comparison Marshall is 48-47 over the same time period, qualifying for the tournament from 2013-17.

• Marshall averages 2.93 blocks per set, ranking 10th in the nation and leading C-USA.

• Destiny Leon registered her third match with double-digit blocks in the loss to Rice.
• Leon is 13th in the country and leads C-USA and her team with 1.41 rejections per game.
• Ciara Debell paces the team with 286 kills, and her 3.97 average is fifth in C-USA.
• Debell added 180 digs and 54 total blocks this season.
