SAN ANTONIO – UTSA's men's and women's basketball programs will host students in an annual Rowdy Jam event, slated for 6-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the UTSA Recreation Wellness Center.
The Roadrunners will welcome fans for Rowdy Jam, an unofficial kickoff to the 2019-20 season. The event will feature free pizza and t-shirt giveaways, competition with the UTSA student-athletes and comments from coaches Steve Henson and Kristen Holt.
UTSA men's basketball opens its 2019-20 season with an exhibition on Oct. 30 vs. Texas A&M International, before tipping off the season officially at Oklahoma on Nov. 5.
The UTSA women's basketball program opens 2019-20 with a home tilt vs. Concordia on Nov. 6 at the Convocation Center.
