SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA cross country program's 2019 schedule has been released, including trips to Illinois, Kentucky, Arkansas and Indiana, it was announced.
"We are excited about our schedule," UTSA cross country/distance coach David Hartman said. "The team will experience great competition from all over the country that will help us prepare for the Conference USA Championships."
The Roadrunners will open the cross country season with an Aug. 30 meet at Incarnate Word at Classic Elite Soccer Complex on Aug. 30 at 8:30 p.m. UTSA will again travel across town to run against Incarnate Word on Sept. 14, before hitting the road to Chicago for the Lakefront Invitational.
UTSA will venture to College Station, Texas, to complete in the Arturo Barrios Invitational on Oct. 19.
The postseason will begin with the Conference USA Championships in Bowling Green, Ky., on Nov. 2. The NCAA South Central Regional is slated for Nov. 15 in Fayetteville, with the NCAA Championships set for Terre Haute, Ind., on Nov. 23.
