Women's basketball reveals 2019-20 schedule

SAN ANTONIO – Head coach Kristen Holt announced the 2019-20 UTSA women's basketball schedule on Thursday.

This season's schedule is highlighted by two Big12 opponents and a trip to Hawaii for the Bank of Hawaii Classic.

"We are excited about this year's schedule," Holt said. Obviously, the trip to Hawaii where we play Utah and Hawaii is going to be a highlight and we have tough in-state road games versus Big 12 opponents, Texas and Texas Tech. Hopefully our non-conference schedule will prepare us for Conference USA and the challenges that each of our opponents bring to the court."

The Roadrunners open the non-conference slate hosting Concordia Texas for the second-consecutive year on Nov. 6. They will then play host to cross-town foes, UIW, on Nov. 11.

UTSA travels north to Austin to play at Texas on Nov. 14 before coming back home to play University of the Southwest.

The week before Thanksgiving, the Roadrunners fly south to play in the Bank of Hawaii Classic Nov. 22-24, where they will face Hawaii and Utah. UTSA travels to UTRGV and Texas State before returning home to host Sam Houston State (Dec. 8) and Texas Wesleyan (Dec. 20).

A trip to Lubbock to play Texas Tech on Dec. 29 closes the non-conference portion of the schedule.

For the 2020 conference season, the Roadrunners will host Florida Atlantic (Jan. 2), FIU (Jan. 4), North Texas (Jan. 23), Rice (Jan. 25), Old Dominion (Feb. 6), Charlotte (Feb. 8) and UTEP (Feb. 20).

UTSA will travel to Louisiana Tech, Southern Miss, UTEP, UAB, Middle Tennessee, Marshall and WKU this season.

The final five games of the year will be determined in mid-December.

The 2020 Air Forces Reserve Conference USA basketball championship is March 11-14 at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco.
