DALLAS - The UTSA spirit program participated in the National Cheerleading Association Collegiate Summer Camp in Dallas July, 20-22, hosted by SMU.
UTSA is a member of the Southwest region with programs from New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. The camp prepares spirit programs for the upcoming season where they learn new material, incorporate cheers and chants in a game day environment, overall adaptability to change, safety training and competition preparation. The Roadrunners were the second largest spirit programs in attendance, behind Oklahoma State, consisting of a large co-ed, small co-ed and Rowdy.
