• Karan Patel makes his 40th-career start, equaling Michael Kraft for the 10th-most in program history.
• Patel is on pace to set the school record for strikeouts in one season. His 78 equals Ryan Smith for ninth all-time. With just 18 more punch-outs, he would surpass Justin Burgess' mark of 95, which has held the top spot since 1995.
