DALLAS –Bradley Griggs is one of 11 honorees on Conference USA's All-Academic team (Baseball), presented by InTouch Credit Union, the league office announced Wednesday.
The left-handed pitcher from Castroville, Texas, boasts a 3.76 grade-point average in finance. He is a four-time recipient of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and a two-time C-USA Commissioner's Medal awardee.
UTSA's co-captain has appeared in 27 games for the Roadrunners pitching staff, working as a starter and a reliever. His 27 appearances rank 37thin the nation and 10thmost in the history of UTSA's program. Griggs 46 strikeouts ranks third on the team and his 7.71 strikeouts-per nine innings over the four years is seventh in program history.
Griggs and the rest of his teammates close out the regular season with a three-game series at Charlotte. First pitch of Thursday's opener is 5 p.m. CDT
