SAN ANTONIO – Fresh off a midweek victory over Houston Baptist, UTSA hosts Western Kentucky in a vital three-game Conference USA series.
UTSA (19-22, 8-10 C-USA) owns a 3-3 record in conference series this season, defeating Rice, Southern Miss and UAB. The Hilltoppers (18-20-1, 9-8-1 C-USA) are 3-3 on league weekends as well, posting victories over UAB, FIU and Charlotte.
The Roadrunners took 2-of-3 at UAB last weekend before defeating the Huskies 11-8 at home Tuesday. WKU dropped three of its last four, with a 15-4 defeat to Kentucky Tuesday and falling in 2-of-3 to FAU at home last week.
