SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA softball team hosts UIW on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Roadrunner Field.

The Roadrunners and the Cardinals are meeting for the 26th time in program history with UTSA leading the series 18-6-1. The last meeting between the two teams was earlier this month on April 3 when then Roadrunners traveled across town and won 13-1. UIW is 2-12 at Roadrunner Field.
Scouting UTSA
UTSA (17-26, 6-12 C-USA) enters the contest after falling to North Texas 0-3, 3-4 and 1-9 over the weekend.
Madison Washington had all four RBIs on the weekend and a batting average of .417. She now leads the team with a .329 batting average and has 23 hits, seven runs and 12 RBIs on the season. Madison Nelson leads in the circle with a 4.58 ERA.

UIW comes into the game 4-36 overall and 2-19 in the Southland.
The Cardinals were swept by Houston Baptist over the weekend, 6-8, 0-1 and 0-12.
Hope Sobolew leads the team with a .276 batting average, while Renee Hoffman leads the pitchers with. 5.98 ERA.
