SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Due to Easter Sunday, a four-game, five-day road trip lies ahead for UTSA baseball this week, beginning with a 6 p.m. first pitch at Texas A&M Corpus Christi Tuesday.
The Roadrunners finish the week at UAB in the first of two Conference USA Thursday to Saturday series in 2019, instead of the traditional Friday to Sunday.

• Bryan Sturges has the longest active hitting streak on the team, reaching safely in the last eight games and has registered at least one extra-base hit in six of the last seven.
• Nick Thornquist carries a modest four-game hitting streak into the road trip, after reaching in all four games last week. He went 8-for-15 during the stretch, including homers in back-to-back games.
• Ryan Stacy (16), Sturges (14) and Bryan Arias all sport a double-digit on-base streak.
• A.G. Yowell makes his third career start on the mound and sixth appearance of his rookie campaign. The 6'6'' freshman from Dripping Springs, Texas holds opponents to a miniscual .105 batting average and has allowed just two hits, while fanning nearly a batter per inning of work.
Scouting TAMU CC:
• Enrique Sanchez Jr. leads six Islanders with a batting average over .300 at .377.
• As a team, they have slugged 13 home runs, while the pitching staff coughed up 34.
• The Islanders enter Tuesday's clash dropping three of their last five games, including being swept by Lamar in a three-game series over the weekend in Beaumont, Texas.
