SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA women's golf team will travel to Macon, Ga., to compete in The Brickyard Collegiate hosted by Mercer on Monday-Tuesday, April 8-9, at Brickyard Golf Course (par 72/6,126 yards).
Sitting at No. 60 in the latest Golfstat rankings, the Roadrunners will line up against Charlotte, Chattanooga, East Tennessee State, Florida Gulf Coast, No. 37 Kennesaw State, Mercer, No. 46 Mississippi State, No. 29 North Carolina, North Florida, Notre Dame, No. 41 Old Dominion, Sacramento State, Troy and UCF.

UTSA is coming off a fourth-place tie at the LSU Tiger Classic on March 29-31 in Baton Rouge, La. Ana Gonzalez collected her first collegiate win after carding a 220 (72-71-77) to lead the Roadrunners, and the sophomore from Monterrey, Mexico, was tabbed Conference USA Co-Golfer of the Week for her performance. Julie Houston tied for 10th place with a 226 (74-73-79) to help the Roadrunners shoot a 912 and share fourth place with 19th-ranked TCU.
