Men's basketball camp schedules set for June

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA men's basketball and head coach Steve Henson will host four summer basketball camps, slated for June at the Convocation Center.

The Roadrunners will host an Elite Camp on June 1, a Skills Camp on June 10-11, a Parent/Child Camp on June 14-15 and a Day Camp from June 17-19. 
 
The Elite Camp is a one-day, high-intensity skills camp for high school age boys. The Skills Camp is set for campers from grades 3-12, the Parent/Child Camp is geared for boys and girls, grades 1st – 12th, and the Day Camp includes boys, grades 1st – 9th. Discounts are available for UTSA employees. 
 
The Roadrunners completed a record-breaking season in 2018-19 with their highest league tournament seed in 14 years. UTSA – known for a high-octane style of play – saw the Roadrunners average 77.5 points per game and rank as one of the nation's fastest paced teams. 
 
Henson, the 2017-18 Conference USA Coach of the Year, has directed the Roadrunners on the third-best two-year run in the history of the program after a 20-win season a year ago. The Roadrunners boast a talent-laden coaching staff, including associate head coach Mike Peck, assistant coaches Adam Hood and Scott Thompson, director of operations Jeff Luster and graduate assistant Austin Karrer
