UNLV tops Women's Tennis in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- UTSA women's tennis wrapped up a two-match swing through Las Vegas, falling 7-0 at UNLV on Saturday afternoon at the Ferrttia Tennis Complex. 

UTSA (10-10) concluded its trip to Vegas with a matchup against host UNLV. Freshman Jasmin Starr pushed No. 96 Alwen Zhu into a tiebreak in the lead singles court, with Mariah Plauth and Sophie Omoworare each taking their singles matches into tiebreak. Starr and Plauth teamed to face the 48th ranked doubles par in the nation, En-Pei Huang and Zhu, with Kylee Kato and Lauara Cabrera teaming on court two in doubles and Omoworare and Charleen Tiwari on court three. 

The Roadrunners return to action next Saturday, traveling to face North Texas.
