LAS VEGAS -- UTSA Women's Tennis fell victim to the 11th straight win from Columbia, as the Lions posted a 4-0 win over UTSA on the campus of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, on Friday afternoon at the Frank and Vicki Fertitta Tennis Center in Las Vegas.
UTSA (10-9) fell to Columbia (11-1) in the first of a two-match swing through Vegas. The Roadrunners will face host UNLV at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The Roadrunners saw three singles matches go unfinished, including on the first three courts. UTSA used the doubles teams of Jasmin Starr and Mariah Plauth, Charleen Tiwari and Kylee Kato, and Diya Menon and Catalina Cabrique. Starr, Kato and Laura Cabrera were on the first three courts in singles. Plauth, Tiwari and Cabrique rounded out UTSA's singles lineup.
