SAN ANTONIO — Riding a stretch of back-to-back top-five finishes, the UTSA men's golf team will compete in the Lake Charles Invitational on Monday-Tuesday, March 18-19, at The Country Club at The Golden Nugget (par 72/7,007 yards).
The Roadrunners will line up against host McNeese State, No. 18 Arkansas State, Lamar, Little Rock, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Missouri State, New Orleans, Nicholls, Rice, Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin, No. 43 TCU, Texas State, No. 10 Texas Tech and Team Sweden.

UTSA has finished in the top five in each of its last two tournaments. After a third-place performance at the Louisiana Classics in late February, the Roadrunners placed fifth with a 7-under-par 857 (287-284-286) at the Border Olympics on March 11-12 in Laredo. Chad Sewell led the way by tying for eighth with a 5-under 211 (70-71-70), while Michael Rome and Christian Fanfelle tied for 16th (72-71-71—214) and 19th (73-70-72—215), respectively.
