SAN ANTONIO -- The UTSA women's tennis team will return to the UTSA Tennis Center to play host to Missouri State on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
UTSA (7-8) will host Missouri State (7-6) with the Bears in the midst of a two-match road swing in the Lone Star State.
UTSA is coming off a 6-1 win over rival Texas State on Saturday and have won five of its last nine matches. The Roadrunners own a 39-41 mark in singles and an 18-18 record in doubles.
Juniors Laura Cabrera (Barcelona, Spain) and Kylee Kato (Kahului, Hawaii) own 8-5 marks in singles play.
Mariah Plauth (Florianopolis, Brazil) and freshman Jasmin Starr (Templestowe, Victoria, Australia) each own six singles wins. Kato has teamed with Starr to post an 8-4 mark in doubles. Charleen Tiwari (Perth, Australia) has posted a 4-6 mark in singles and has combined on a pair of different doubles duos to post a 7-4 record. Sophie Omoworare (Plano, Texas) and Tiwari are 7-3. Omoworare is 3-6 in singles.
Freshman Catalina Cabrique (Bogota, Colombia) is 3-4 in singles and Diya Menon (Plano, Texas) owns a 2-0 mark in doubles with Omoworare.
