EL PASO, Texas -- Laura Cabrera and Kylee Kato each won singles matches but it wasn't enough as UTEP posted a 5-2 win over UTSA women's tennis, on Friday morning at the El Paso Tennis Club.
UTSA (5-6) fell to UTEP (2-5) in the first of a three-match road swing over the next three days. UTSA will face Utah State on Saturday before traveling to face New Mexico State in Las Cruces, N.M.
