SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women's basketball teams travels to Florida this week to play at FIU on Feb. 7 and 10 a.m. CT and Florida Atlantic on Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. CT.
All-time series against FIU
The Roadrunners and the Panthers are meeting for the 11th time in program history with UTSA leading the series 6-4. The last meeting between the two teams was Feb. 14, 2018 when UTSA won 69-66 at the Convocation Center. The Roadrunners are 1-2 in Miami.
All-time series against Florida Atlantic
UTSA and Florida Atlantic are meeting for the ninth time with the Roadrunners leading the series 5-3. The last time the two teams met was March 7, 2018 at the conference tournament when UTSA won 83-71. The Roadrunners are 1-1 in Boca Raton.
Scouting FIU
FIU enters the contest after a 90-73 loss at Louisiana Tech on Feb. 2. The Panthers are 3-19 overall and 0-9 in conference action.
Paula Orenes led the team with 21 points, followed by Ce'Nara Skanes with 17 points and Paris Netherly who posted 12.
Scouting Florida Atlantic
The Owls dropped a 67-45 decision at Southern Miss on Feb. 2.
Florida Atlantic was led by Myka Johnson Matthews with 13 points and Juliette Gauthier with 12.
FAU is 4-18 overall and 1-8 in the C-USA.
