SAN ANTONIO -- UTSA men's tennis opened its spring schedule with a 5-1 win over Prairie View A&M in the first of a doubleheader on Friday morning at the UTSA Tennis Center.
UTSA (1-0) opened its spring schedule with a win in the first of a doubleheader vs. Prairie View A&M.
In doubles, UTSA posted wins behind Joao Ceolin and Juri Reckow (6-3), and Alan Sanson and Kai Brietbach (6-1), and Javier Gonzalez and Javier Rodriguez (6-2).
UTSA won five of six singles matches, including Ceolin (6-0, 6-2), Reckow (6-2, 6-0), Rodriguez (6-1, 6-0), Gonzalez (6-2, 6-1) and Alan Sanson (6-2, 6-1).
UTSA returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to face host No. 8 Texas at 12 p.m. in Austin.
