COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M posted a 7-0 win over UTSA women's tennis on Saturday morning in the opening of the 2019 schedule, at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.
UTSA (0-1) fell to the Aggies (3-0) who posted wins in each of the singles and doubles matches.
Laura Cabrera (Barcelona, Spain) and Mariah Pluath (Florianapolis, Brazil), Jasmin Starr (Victoria, Australia) and Kylee Kato (Kahului, Hawaii), and Charleen Tiwari (Perth, Australia) and Sophie Omoworare (Plano, Texas) rounded out UTSA's double teams.
UTSA will return to action with a three-match trip to Albuquerque, N.M., facing Cameron, Abilene Christian and the host Lobos on Jan. 25-27.
